I was actually wondering if the Apple ones were fakes, they don't say "Apple" on the box anywhere except for the logo. But that does appear to be a valid Apple part # for a pack of DVD-Rs. Weird.

(I didn't buy any of them; don't need blank DVDs.)

Neat. Our first PC was a Packard Bell. Which thrift store?

(I bought some things off of you locally...the P-II and the K6-2 towers)

By the way, I remember you had what looked like a 56k modem on PCI-E. I realized afterwards that it is probably a Communications and Network Riser (CNR) card.

Oh hey, was wondering if you were on here! They were at WIN downtown. There were also some Win95-era games in there too, most notably David Macaulay's Pinball Science (I have a thing for old pinball games & science outreach stuff 😜 ), but I didn't buy any of them because my unplayed-games queue is a mile long.

I think I still have that modem kicking around, I'll have a look at it. There were a few competing standards for useless connectors like that IIRC. It sure looked like x1 PCIe though.

Oh ok. Yeah, my queue is pretty massive too.

I figured out it was you when researching the ISA lab cards in that Socket 7, leading me to a post you did on here.
