Before I toss this I wanted to see if anyone has a use for it in their modern system. This is completely unused (well, maybe plugged in once). I removed the NVMe and placed it directly into my motherboard's M.2 slot so I don't need the card. You could stick your own NVMe drive in it. The card chassis also doubles as a drive heatsink. Comes in original box with all parts and docs minus the drive. See photos. Free. Just pay shipping.

I may have a few components specific to the Victor VPC-II 8088 compatible. Free + shipping NJ 08005. Case components, bad mobo. Not exactly sure what. I'll have to dig around.

Not old hardware, but a giveaway nonetheless. Shipping is free to U.S. addresses only. I had some leftover EVGA bucks I had to use since EVGA is doing away with their bucks program.

The prize: One brand new EVGA GeForce GT 1030 SC, 02G-P4-6338-KR, 2GB GDDR5, Single Slot video card. Includes two new DVI-2-VGA adapters. (This model has two DVI outputs only. No HDMI.)

Performance considerably better than a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 from online benchmarks that I have seen. Excellent card for a Windows 7 build running games from 2010 and earlier (maybe some later games as well).

It's Quake III Arena. Everyone's favorite game from 1999 is Quake III Arena. Those who say otherwise are liars (or UT fans, but they just lie to themselves 😜).

Unreal Tournament, clearly. Quake III was no competition. Only one of these two arena shooters had multiple sequels. 😀

I thought it might be Baldur's Gate, but that was December 1998. Definitely one of my favorites for that year. There were quite a few stellar games from 1999. This might be a challenge!

Nope, both had/have (and only one of those franchises are still being actively developed 😘).
