Yes, but i would like to identify board first.

I have the exact same board. For some reason it seems to be listed in TH99 as being made by Soyo:

ZERO-WAIT 80386SX SCAMP

However, I don't think it's a Soyo board, the letters "T.B." on the BIOS and KB controller would indicate that the manufacturer is "Tarng Bow" (ID: 1277). I have a BIOS dump and can confirm this by looking at the ID string later today, but I haven't submitted an entry of the board yet as I am repairing some corrosion and had to pull out a couple of ISA slots and other components.

(Note that the chip labeled as "BIOS" in the TH99 schematic is actually the RTC, the BIOS chip is near the front panel headers)

Bur the bios can be used to identify the board 😅

The post string is 30-0100-ZZ1277-00101111-050591-SCAMPSX

1277 is apparently "Trangg Bow"'s id

Is it "Trangg Bow" or "Tarng Bow", or did you both spell it wrong? 😀

Well, the spelling might have been wrong on my side, but the source material is shared it seems, because I've seen someone else having "Trangg Bow" used on their data.

Hey, apologies. I didn't mean to have a stab at anyone. I simply noticed how BreakPoint used a different name in the other thread and figured a simple typo or whatever. My comment was mostly meant towards BreakPoint, but then again, I have no idea what the correct spelling is supposed to be... 😀

I see it listed many ways depending on what country of origin the listing is.
Trangg Bow, Tarng Bow, Trang Bow.
Dug thru many old manu archives and no website or contact info for them or Bow.
The FCC ID of IJN leads to Bow Electronics of Korea but I think they rebranded
other OEM parts back then, only the 2000+ year FCC records have real data.
This page lists the Award BIOS id T1o as Taemung or Fentech or Trang Bow
http://lmg-data.dk/Pc/award.htm
The Trangg Bow TB-6BX is an Aeton TB-6BX according to another site.....
And according to this: http://web.archive.org/web/20000917082930/htt … L1/fentech.html
lead me to http://web.archive.org/web/20001007133353/htt … om/download.htm
So Taemung/Fentech/Trang Bow is associated with Aeton ?? hmm
and one of the boards is listed as DFI
Like I said: back then I think they rebranded others boards or else would be
better documentation records....
yeah not much else to go on back in early 90's ...
Still that does not explain all the name differences 😀

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Any sticker on the side of the end ISA slot? Sometimes that offers a clue.

Doesn't actually look like a PCChips to me. Missing the version on the corner next to the keyboard controler, has an AMIBIOS sticker (pcchips usually have some generic word there), has real cache (some pcchips have that though)... still looks "too tidy".

Well this is true, but the POST string says "PC CHIPS" and it has the pcchips id string.
The "wrong ROM" is also not an option since we have a bios on ultimateretro which is the same.

Maybe they released this board under the pcchips brand but actually made a decent board for some reason. Or maybe some other shady manufacturer stole a pcchips ROM to put it on there.

Pcchips not using amibios stickers is wrong though, at least for that era (this is true for later boards) : there's one on this other 486 boardhttps://www.ultimateretro.net/en/motherboards/5944
And also the infamous m919

Yah it was later nineties they tarted up a few boards with bright yellow stickers on BIOS and chipset etc.

Deksor, I've got a few bios images from eeproms which were salvaged from scrapped motherboard. Is it ok if I attach them on a post here ?

Also, I've got this here , pretty sure it's a pcchips mainboard, https://i.imgur.com/c9B2kjQ.jpg, yet am not finding it in the ultimateretro listing for any of the txpro chipsets.

edit, closest resemblance I can find for now is the m575, though listed chipset is different. https://www.ultimateretro.net/en/motherboards/4166

@weedeewee sure you can 😀 (you can also send them through our discord).

I think this is this board : https://www.ultimateretro.net/en/motherboards/4166

It seems to have been mistakingly listed as hx pro instead of tx pro. If you check the MTL manual it also says tx pro

I'm looking at the manual right now verifying the jumpers, noticing a p54c-75 isn't supported, and yeah, i missed the mention in the manual of txpro.
