Hello there,

i had this 8 Bit HD Floppy Controller a long time, works nice - also with Sergey's Floppy Bios - But...
I need that original Bios Dump from the Card, it is known as MT883 Type and has an UM8398 UMC Floppy Controller and an 2764 BIOS Socket.

Will be very cool - also for Coolnes and Original Hardware 😁

Thanks

A lot of older HDD/Floppy controllers didn't come with a BIOS installed, since the motherboard BIOS often takes care of the drives. Are you certain it had a ROM in it originally? Even if it did, the ROM was optional on most cards, and you just set the ROM jumper to 'disable" and it works just fine.

Hi @dkarguth,

i saw this Controller as "MT883" with a 64kbit BIOS installed because it's a 1.44 MByte Version and XT's often lacks support at HD Disks.
It will be cool to have that original Dump of that bios - otherwise it can run with Sergey's Floppybios.

Lets see...
