So my packard bell is steaming along now with an MMX 166 i had laying around at 3.3V just fine, put a bigger HSF on it and added a front 80mm fan to blow air the HSF as well, its stable and doesn't feel warm to the touch. So my next idea now is to get a super cheap MMX233 for this board. Question though the board has no L2, is it a waste to go with a faster MMX without L2 cache.
