I have the blue one.
Can't properly close cd rom and zip drive. Everything is installed as it should, all the screw holes are aligned...
Any tips?
When i take out mounting bay with cd rom and zip, then blue plastic mask sits properly.

Are you using the original Apple CD drive? Could be that the drive you're trying to install is too long.

(Slight nitpick: It's not blue but rather "Graphite Grey", the only blue Power Mac was the original blue and white Power Macintosh G3)

On some Macs the CD-drive lacks the bezel normally found on CD-drives, so if yours has a bezel and the front panel won't fit due to that it might be that the drive is not an original one.

If it's an issue, I would drill and tap new drive mounting screwholes, so that the drive could be mounted further back in order to accommodate the case door.
