Hi All

Getting stumped with this motherboard. Its got Real Cache!, 3 VLB sockets, UMC Chipset.
Manufactured by SUK JUNG ELEC. CO., LTD
Model No SJ-486-3VL-2

I am trying to find any more info on the Jumpers. The board as shown in the photos was running a DX33 so i dropped my DX2 66ODPR in and it all works ok.

I want to know if it will do the 3.3v for the DX4 100... I dont see a voltage reg so think im S.H.O.L.

Any of the jumper information would be good.

Ive tried Googling it, and came up with this but its not quite right

and yes i know it needs a good clean....

Hi Again

Any one out there with any more information on this board? I have it in a case now, Sometimes the RTC stops (Looses time randomly when off). I have an external battery pack attached and it keeps all other settings but over a week of no use its droped about 2hrs and i have caught it not counting when powered up... I dont really care about time on this board but something not right.

I have cleaned (with Isopropal) the Clock Xtal Y1 (Small one near the battery Location) and examined all tracks. they seem ok. Im thinking maby the xtal is just about stuffed or some of the ceramic caps may be stuffed from the corrosion that was there. Anyone had issues with the RTC not counting all the time... Pun not intended.

What's the voltage on your battery pack? Most of those require 3.6V

Premio 212B motherboard (MSI MS-6112)
Intel PentiumII 333MHz Slot 1 66MHz bus
384MB ECC 66MHz
SIIG ATA133 controller --> Seagate Barracuda 80GB
SIIG Gigabit Ethernet (RTL8169) / USB 2.0 / IEEE1394 controller
ESS 1869 soundcard on board wavetable synth
