LoTech Memory extention in a Tandy 1000 EX

Hi,

I purchased a LoTech 1MB Memory Card with a ISA Rizer, but the Tandy 1000 BIOS (Then DOS) refuse to see the memory.

When I check with Sysinfo, it does see all the memory Bank.
XI IDE card is working as well. Then, the ISA Connector address ans Data bus are working.

Does anybody know if the BIOS check for the Tandy Memory extention card ?

Did anybody tries to tell to the BIOS and DOX that there is more memory in the machine ?

I know this is a slightly old thread, but.. The memory map is really strange in the Tandy 1000 EX and HX. Instead of enabling the blocks above the included 256k.. you need to enable the blocks BELOW it.

Try the lotech card again with switches SW1-1 through SW1-6 on, and the rest of them off. That combination works in my HX, bringing me to 640k (623k useable to DOS because of the way VRAM works on this platform)
