It has to be unlocked or the KB will not work.
Well you can bypass the switch obviously.
Also mine did not work properly without a fresh cmos battery.

I don’t have the key but seems already unlocked. I also remove the connector behind the key lock with no luck.

Also, I measure the din-5 socket and there is not 5v dc.

I will do the mod with Dallas and I report back.

By hack the Dallas and add battery, the only change was that pass the diagnostic test and boot to OS (ms-dos).

The front lock is unlocked for sure.

Still no keyboard. I test 3 different AT keyboards. No error, no nothing, just don’t work. Not even keyboard led’s flashlight as I wrote before. The strange thing is that the 5v missing from din5 socket. Maybe there is a keyboard fuse anywhere in the pcb?
