Crysis Benchmark not looping - need help

This is a bit weird, after finally getting netframe 3.5 installed offline on win10 the Crysis benchmark works sort of.
It doesn't loop or play in fast mode, just starts the game "normally" with introduction and all. It does show the fps
and stuff but no loop/fast mode. I googled this many times to no avail so maybe someone here has run into this.

Yes, did that. I copied the benchmark files from another computer onto this one since it doesn't actually install, and noticed
a config file had the game path from the other pc. Perhaps that has something to do with it?

I'm going to download a "fresh" copy and see if that helps. Can also bring the pc to work (don't have internet at home) and
try downloading .NET 3.5 directly from microsoft.
