I was investigating AMD builds for XP since I don't necessarily need the highest performance. However, I also want to keep the TDP reasonable and found out about Carrizo for FM2+. There is at least one new motherboard being sold: the Asrock FM2A68M-DG3+, but I read a post on here that said Asrock does not support Carrizo for Windows XP. Anyone know what boards do? The other issue would be updating the bios to support the CPU. Is this a bad idea?

Huch ? why shouldnt it run ? the 845 has no iGPU, so no drivers for cpu are necessary.
As long as Mainboard has drivers it should run.

On Asrock? I don't know; that's just what I read in a post on here.
