Hello, I have this really nice “Cooler Master Wave” ATX case I acquired for almost FREE as the owner was about to send this to the recycler.
It’s made of high quality construction machined Aluminum. This one is painted Yellow.

I could build a Retro WIn98 computer or WinXP ?

What do you think ?

What CPU and motherboard would you use ?

Some hardware i have are:
1) Intel P-3@500mhz CPU and motherboard
2) AMD Duron 800mhz CPU and motherboard
3) Intel Core-2-Quad CPU and motherboard

I know full size ATX fits. I don’t know about anything larger.

I was thinking about a Gaming computer theme, Military theme games.
So I was considering maybe a Military theme like putting some Military stickers on the side.
Like “NAVY” or “Marines”.
That Yellow color scheme would go good with Navy Blue letters.

I also have an AMD Athlon CPU and Motherboard.

What I have in it so far is this:
Black floppy
Black Sony DVD player
Black face plate Sound Blaster Audigy 2zs with live drive.

No this isn't an E-ATX case. I used to have one years ago, though I never liked it because the door kept getting in the way, and there's no easy way to take it off.

Is this too much voodoo?

a mate of mine had a p4 3.0ghz and x800 back in '03 in a very similar silver case. i think it was the Soprano case? yeah that was a cool pc.

edit: probably not an x800 for the time. maybe 9800.
