Hello,

I 've a IBM portable 5155, but the "adjustable feet" are broken.
There are a few places where I find keys for that keyboard F, but I can't find the feet.
It seems to be that the partnumber is 8529157, but that doesn't help me in my search...
Does anyone knows where I can buy it? Or, in the worst case, where I can buy such a keyboard (on a reasonable price ?
(And no, not on Ebay; I 've an allert there for a few months already...)

THANKS!

Model F keyboards are somewhat uncommon compared to the model M. So you will pay a premium regardless.

I'd send a message to anyone selling model F parts. They might just have the parts, just not listed.

Also make a BROAD search. something like "IBM keyboard parts". You will have to sort through a bunch of crap, BUT it will give you a better chance at catching someone making a crap listing.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Have you tried asking at deskthority.net?
It is a forum dedicated to keyboards, also with a marketplace section where you could post a thread of what you're looking for.

Probably easier to 3d-print new ones than finding spare ones.

I replied to your post at VCFED.ORG:
Check out These 3D Printed Feet designshttps://grabcad.com/library/ibm-5155-keyboard … feet-stl-step-1. If you have or know someone with a 3D Printer this might help.

It's little things like this that make me want to get a 3d printer.

Many public libraries in the US have high quality 3d printers available for use, you just need to pay a per gram fee for the filament.

It's worth a call or web search, once quarantine is over.

No, I did not. For me is that all new!
I certainly try it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Where from Europe are you? I'm from Germany and own a 3d printer (well, two actually).

I'm from Antwerp, Belgium.
Normally I would travel to Munchen this summer, but it will be for next year...

There's also:
https://www.modelfkeyboards.com/

They are very easy to work with. I've talked to them about my original Model F a few times. That reminds me, I was going to order some replacement flippers for mine...

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

Now that I know that you are from Germany... My keyboard is German, but I like to transform it to US. Do you know if you can switch the keys of M keyboards to F keyboards?
