Ah that's because in TH99 the max speed was 120.

There's a major CPU update in the works right now because we don't like the way CPUs are listed at the moment.

Edit : well computerguy was quicker :p

Many times we are using the lists found in the manuals of a board. As we all know, those are usually incomplete, especially after a few bios revisions, more CPUs are supported.

So if you see such typos, don't be worried, we're planning to fix them.

Even more, don't be afraid to report stuff like that, we will try and fix them (in between adding a few thousands more boards).

Thanks.

For the same board, max cache is listed as 256K but it actually takes up to 512K in a single bank using 128x8 modules so you may want to fix that as well.

Since I have the board, here's the ami bios. unfortunately my board suffered some battery leakage and is currently non functional.
read the bios with a tl866...

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

Good question.

However I'm not sure if there's a good answer to this. This is a very specific thing that only happened once in PC history as far as I am aware and support is also slotket dependand (some slotket will let people use top performing CPUs while others will only let you use mendocino celerons).

Yes, but there are three identifiable categories that are associated with three cpu types: Mendocino Celeron, Coppermine, and Tualatin. Over time I have collected info on slotkets and found identification clues for over a 100 brands/models/versions. The majority was manufactured or at least marketed by known motherboard producers, some were produced by upgrade specialists and some were from 'generic' background. Maybe there is a way to create a clear overview of it all, I don't know.

Good spreadsheet. Would you consider making that a google sheet, and starting a dedicated thread? Maybe we could get some of those blanks filled in.

I don't think the expansion slot would be great. However I might have some other ideas ...

if you also use other socket adapters and cpu upgrades this could certainly be made into a larger category.

The only 'other' slotket that I came across is for AMD and it seems to have been in production for a very short time (plus that some report mentioned flaky performance).

CPU upgrades outside of slot 1 or A is a somewhat different segment of which I know next to nothing and is for a part covered by this CPUshack webpage

I don't know how to make a Google sheet but you are welcome to use this in any way. There are plenty photos still on the web and I have photos (of varying quality) of +50 of them but of course the copyright is a problem for publication.

I thought I'd share a few of the perks in the upcoming update:

1.Dark mode

Some people have requested this, and being a dark mode user myself, I considered it appropriate to have this theme on UH19 as well.
For now, the theme gets automatically activated based on the browser theme.

2.Highslide JS

This script allows an easy viewing of the images on UH19 (without redirecting to the image link, it all happens on the board page)

is this optional?

will it still work without scripts as direct image link?

I hope the site will stay usable without JS.

JS scripts are optional, if they are disabled by the user, the site will continue to work.

Treat them as enhancements for PCs that can do more, if you will.
Of course, I optimize the JS code that I use on UH19, so it takes the least amount of code lines while still doing what it's supposed to do.
