Any ideas what this jumper does? despite the markings, it does not change the FSB speed. Maybe it changes the PCI/AT bus speed? The Opti 82C822 is a PCI/VLB bridge controller chip.

I did notice to the left of the Opti 82C822 chip, there's a black box labeled "33.33333 M", I assume this is a crystal or something that controls the speed of the PCI bus. If that's true, then what does the jumper do?

Which jumper ? I see like 7 in the picture 🤣. Are you talking about the two that have 25mhz and 33mhz near them ?

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. https://archive.org/details/@horun

That’s a riser card for a newer model PS/1 with a VLB slot or PCI slots.
It this a 486dx4-100 CPU ?

Check this IBM PS/1 service manual for your motherboard type.
http://ps-2.kev009.com/pccbbs/aptiva/63g2028.pdf

But you should know that there where many models of the PS/1
At least 7 or more.

It all depended on what store you purchased the PS/1 from. Each store carried a different model.
IBM marketing ?.....

Your NEWER model PS/1 may not be in this service manual.
