i think its actually very close to a Commodore 1084 monitor;
the layout of the connections and dimensions seem to be the same in alot of respects
but may be slightly better (pro digital imaging vs retail consumer version)

my question is - would i be able to use it with a 9pin EGA/VGA from a 386?
is there a cable i could get to allow me to feed the source of this thing from a ATI VGA wonder? or my EGA wonder

pretty sure the composite would work but would rather not use that if i have a choice

Indeed, seems to be the same as Commodore.
Therefore, 15 kHz HSYNC only.
Can be used with a CGA, or EGA configured for CGA monitor, ie. 200-line modes only.

Those screens were used with the Kodak Flashsync CCD4000 camera systems at amusement parks, should work well with an Amiga or CGA class system

Could use it for both composite and ttl CGA or Tandy

amusement parks? do you mean the greenscreen video VHS tapes? where they recorded video superimposed on a graphic background? i have an old VHS tape of me and a friend doin that!

shooot!; so i wont be able to do normal EGA on this ?? sad face

was the Tandy CM-5 only CGA?
how would that compare to an ATARI SC1224? was that CGA aswell?

all these scattered questions;) 🤣

i guess the "S" in 1084S stands for STEREO, indicating its capability of accepting L/R seperate audio inputs
the kodak doesnt have that, only a single AUDIO IN RCA connection

according to the online info here: https://gona.mactar.hu/Commodore/monitor/Comm … del_number.html
the kodak sv1300 most closely matches this model: Commodore 1902A
