Hi all,
I've replied to a few posts already here and scoured google/tularc- but still coming up blank with details on this motherboard.
Essentially I'd like to know; a) what are the empty memory sockets for [and what they're expecting], b) what are the jumpers and headers that don't have obvious markings?, c) what is the motherboard model or is it just a *generic* 😀

Will dump the BIOS here ASAP

Note: That battery is coming off as soon as possible, there is some corrosion from a previous battery leak but it POSTs OK.

The empty memory sockets are for ... memory chips, the small empty sockets that is, the two that seem to have two sockets in one are for the parity part of the memory.
The big empty socket is for the NPU.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

Thanks for explaining - I did know the bigger one was for NPU (already got one on order) but I hadn't seen socketed RAM and SIPP together before so it was confusing.

Still would like to know the rest of the jumpers if possible, hoping someone has a manual or schematic somewhere 😀

This is one of the many 286 boards made somewhere in Asia that nobody documented, not even TH99 (and UH19).

Could you make a photo of the POST screen ? It will probably reveal the POST code on the bottom of the screen, which might help us identify the manufacturer.

Looking at the jumper settings of the board on uh19 that have the same chipset can give you some insight in what jumper settings are available.
Unfortunately, it won't tell you which does what. Though I think your board does not have a rom size select jumper.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

Please excuse my very dusty LCD 😀

I've attached the NSSI dumped roms also for the Wang graphics card and BIOS/DIAGS from this motherboard.
This motherboard appears to be the original one in this PC which was built in Melbourne, Australia - so the theory about it being sold in Asia seems correct.

1160: Dunson Electronics , at least we know who was it made by.
As for what model it is, that will require some extra web digging.

Edit: I've made a page for the board: http://www.win3x.org/uh19/motherboard/show/7967
