I have a Mouse PS2 for a 386 and i bought on Amazon for convert from PS2 to Serial but doesn t work
I’m downloaded drivers but still doesn t work.

I wish those adapters simply didn't exist. Your mouse does not support serial protocol, it won't work no matter what you do.

Those adapters exist for the mice that actually support it.
I've got this Microsoft wheel mouse, serial & ps2 compatible. comes with a ps2 connector. Unfortunatly I don't have the cable to connect it to serial.
weird thing about this mouse... it didn't work on ps2 on this x99 mainboard I got.
Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

I know that, but those are few and far between and I'm sick to death of having to explain to people that it won't work on their optical mouse or whatever.
Even amongst the mice that did support both serial and ps/2 signalling, there was no standard pinout for the adapters. I personally have three completely different ones. It's a pox and plague
