Hi guys, I rescued this from the WEEE waste pile at work and would love to know what it is, Google wasn't much use at all surprisingly. I know the i960 is a RISC based processor and was often used in military applications but other than that it's a bit of a mystery:

It has Brooktree DAC and Genlock. Most probably it is an analog image acquisition card, probably for some expensive lab or industrial equipment...

The DAC is used to convert digital signals to analog to output over the VGA port. Other than that, I have no idea either.

See my graphics card database at www.gpuzoo.com
Constantly being worked on. Feel free to message me with any corrections or details of cards you would like me to research and add.

Cheers guys, I think you're all in the right ballpark. Whatever it is, it was used in the nuclear industry so some kind of image aquisition card makes a lot of sense.

Reading the BIOS would probably give some pertinent information.
