Hi,
I've installed an XT-CF Lite 4.1 8-bit board on a PC Amstrad 1640HD and put a Sandisk 1GB ULTRA-II Compact Flash. It's perfectly recognized by the card. I booted from MS-DOS 5.00 floppy and installed the system, but when I reboot it the systems freezes after the "Starting from C"message. If I boot from a simple MS-DOS 5.00 floppy disk, I see every contents on this CF correctly.
Everything goes ok if I put a Kingston 1GB Card and I install the same system on it: the system starts good.
Why cannot I boot from the Sandisk card? Is there some workaround?
