Hello!

I bought a CH Mach III joystick. Cleaned it and got stuck at bending back the handle (?).
I have no idea how to remove the plastic part as in posted picture no. 3.
The ball at the bottom prevents any attempt as it won't get out unless breaking something.

If anyone knows how please drop a line.

Thanks!

I can't understand if it is glued, screwed or fitted in.

Quoting myself I found that the top piece is fitted.
You have to hold the bottom part (white T), and turn the top (I did it by turning clockwise); see pics.

Bending it back is going to be another annoyance.

With enough room for pliers it was easy to straighten it back as it used to be.
Reassembly + test and it's an old friend coming back to play.

good job :3

I love these little things

Tested playing some F-19 and I like it way better than other bigger and newer ones.
We threw one away when I was a kid... for a newer and cooler stick 🙁
