Hi all,

I've recently picked up a machine with dual Coppermine Pentium III's in using an ASUS CUV4X-D motherboard. Would I be able to run Dual Tualatins in here with not much fuss as an upgrdade using the following adapter:

Thanks
Simon.

IF your board supports 1.5V and IF that's what the CPU is modded to, rather than the over specific 1.45 or so that coppermine boards don't understand, then there's a chance you'll get as far as your BIOS complaining about an unrecognized CPU. (Some will go "meh, it looks PIII-ish, we'll assume it is and boot.", some will go "it does not match the model name strings in my whitelist so I will assume it's a terrorist plot to blow me up, hence I will freeze and do nothing."

2017: Basement full of ancient PC stuff, starting to go through it. 2021: Still starting, heh, many setbacks. So what's this BitWrangler guy's deal ??? >>> Taming the pile, specs to target?
