I have just got this SCSI card on order coming to me with rust on it and I need to know how I can remove it. Also, anyone know where I can get drivers for 98SE and XP?

A Dremel with a wire wheel works well, failing that - sandpaper it off, then spray with some WD40 or INOX for some element of rust protection.
Many of the restoration crew on Youtube go into great detail on removing rust from small metal items, like die-cast cars and such, most frequently with store-bought rust-removal chemicals. Some also use electroplating to put zinc on the items to prevent them from rusting again.
Found drivers for it but not for xp or above, so, i'm gonna try use my pci adaptec card its an AHA-2940-UWP1 to run my cd burner when i get it.
It runs on anything microsoft up to vista but only 32bit OS.
Then, if the burner works I will have a burner from the post - burn hole era as it has 2mb buffer and burns at 4x 🤣 but slow burners do a good job; YAMAHA looks good on retro the white and beige combination reminds me not all beige are the dirty ones 😀
So I have decided to use a dremil style approach but not with abrasive attachment but a buff tool with cream polish just to clean off the rough (toothpaste can but i will use car) and then I shal give it the rust converter treatment.
When it is done it will not look rusted but really tiny pit marks will tell the metal kind of lost a little "meat"
Finally, I may seal it with spray laquer just to stop it rusting again.
