Hi, first sorry my english

I buy a 210CS for cheap, and is "working" good, exept not boot, i just get a cursor blinking after bios boot

The bios and memory post is OK, i can enter bios, options are saved, and memory count is ok, but after this just cursor blinking

I tried different hard disk, CF>IDE, floppy, nothing boot. Not from HDD or floppy

I removed internal battery (are two), disable cache in bios, nothing

If at least boot from floppy i can test something, but just the cursor. I tested same floppy and HDD, CF, on a older toshiba i have (486) and both boot OK

Any ideas?

thanks

When you removed the batteries, did you notice any sort of leakage ?

No, the laptop smell new... is in a perfect sharp, outside and inside. The batteries even have correct voltage

I was surprise the main battery... still hold charge for more than 40min!!!

I did not dissaembly more than just remove the keyboard and check anyways

Maybe it needs a working cmos battery to boot ?

I have one which still has its internal batteries and still boots, I'm not sure why it wouldn't in your case 🙁
