I have several Diamond S3 Trio64+ PCI cards but one of them with the oldest BIOS version and Chip revision is refusing to use 1024x768 resolution in Win95. Could it be that the old BIOS version simply doesnt support this high resolution or is the card defected? Im asking for your thoughts about this prior to starting the BIOS flashing operation, what do you think vogons experts?

Try using Diamond drivers. Sometimes Windows driver does 1024x768 in interlaced mode that LCDs don't like and won't display any image. But I don't know if this is BIOS version related.

Update! It actually was a driver issue, for some strange reason the older win95 drivers dated 8-24-1996 seems to be working, but not the never ones?
