1. Is the resistance between ground and + 5V line of about 23 ohms normal on this card? I do not know whether to look for a short circuit or not

2. What is the typical temperature of the AU8830A2 chip? When I put my finger on it, the system is very warm, I can keep my finger on it for the longest 10-15 seconds. I have a different card (vortex1, not 2) and there the temperature of the chip is not much higher than the ambient temperature. I would like to know this before desoldering the chip.
