I've sorted my RAM and noticed that I have less small DDR2 sticks than I thought I would have.
27x 2GB
26x 1GB
3x 512MB
3x 256MB
I think I can safely throw the 256MB and 512MB ones into the garbage box.
I have three LGA775 boards which probably don't sell individually. So I plan to populate them with 8GB DDR2 and a Q6600. Add FSP PSU, HDD and worthless case. Ready to use office PC for small money. Remaining 15 sticks will be sold as 8GB and 4GB kits. 1GB sticks will populate the other boards I want to get rid off.

Do people buy 2x512MB DDR1? Or is this more useful to populate boards you want to sell?

Have received the lot with the two COAST modules yesterday. Haven't checked the SDR and 30pin yet. All the 72pin work and have been tested with Memtest86+ (just 2 passes).

Those 8MB EDO sticks are becoming a plague as well. But I'm not willing to melt them down yet, as they're not worth much. Hoping to eventually get matching pairs. No 100% matches yet, but some really close one. Like two 2x8MB Kits with identical PCB but different chip. Or identical chips with different PCBs.
What about those FPM sticks with parity? Do people actually buy those? Can't find that much on Ebay. Professional traders ask for 5€ per stick. I have three 4x8MB kits and four 2x8MB kits.
