One trace was burnt on my ASUS VL/I-486SV2GX4 motherboard, and I think I was able to find out what it was connected to, but I'm not 100% sure.
If you click on the attachment, you can see a highlighted via (in red), and some highlighted CPU pins.
Where does the red via go? In my case, it *seems* like it was to either of the yellow or blue pins, but part of the burnt trace is still hanging around under the CPU socket and possibly shorting them together
So can anyone with this mainboard and a multimeter, please find out where this red via goes? Just finding one CPU pin that is linked to it is enough.
Can you also check if the yellow and blue pins are supposed to be shorted together?
Thanks!
