Vodoo cards are expensive here in Europe as well but if you are lucky you can find one at cheaper price. (with cheaper I mean only 100) like this one.

I think you are missing the fact that 100 is the starting bidding price. 😀
That being said, in my country I can still find Voodoo 2 cards for 80 - 100 euros, but definitely not as many as before. 1 - 2 years ago, you could pretty easily find them for 50 euros or even less.

ps: Just fo the record. Are creative labs vodoo cards a solid pick vor v2 system or are other vendors better?

They are all mostly the same. I prefer Creative, Diamond, Gainward, but I never noticed a difference in quality, even with lesser-known brands.

1 x PLCC-68 / 2 x PGA132 / 5 x Skt 3 / 9 x Skt 7 / 12 x SS7 / 1 x Skt 8 / 14 x Slot 1 / 5 x Slot A
5 x Skt 370 / 8 x Skt A / 2 x Skt 478 / 2 x Skt 754 / 3 x Skt 939 / 7 x LGA775 / 1 x LGA1155
Current PC: Ryzen 7 5800X3D
Backup PC: Core i7 7700k

You are right I should have mentioned that it is still the bidding price but it is still at least a chance to get the card cheaper than normal if you are bidding smart of course.

And good to know they are almost all the same. In general i believe that Creative Labs had a good reputation in general so getting one of their cards should be save bet. But to be honest the same can be said about Diamond and Gainward as well.

I'd say getting a matched pair is more important then the actual brand. It's not really an issue these days with unofficial drivers but then either is brand in general and matching opens up the option of reference drivers.
However with currant prices I'd say cost is the most important consideration

That's correct. The price is the most important factor. I am watching the different sales vor a v2 or v3 set for quite some time on daily basis. In order to be there if I find a bargain. I won't make purchase until mid May though. In mid May there is flea market in my town where sometimes decent old pc stuff is sold there too a bit cheaper than the normal internet price. Maybe i am lucky there if not I need to buy on ebay or electromyne.

I want to upgrade my 8 meg Voodoo 2 to 12. Where can I get the memory modules for it?

I've used these EDO memory ICs in the past (not from this particular seller, though) and they worked great.

Thanks, I was looking on ebay but came up with nothing. I hope to pick some up soon and upgrade my voodoo 2.
