Won these from Yahoo! Auctions Japan.

The CM-32L came to 5000 Yen (About 56 USD). There were no other bidders.

It's for PC-98Jr, but the module works with the Midi Quest PCI MIDI Card nonetheless, in my 486.

Also got a CM-64 complete with all cables and manual but no box. Price is 3750 Yen (about 42 USD).

You need to get the help of 3rd party Japan auctioneers to bid on your behalf, though. But the commission is not expensive and they ship via EMS safely.

So do these roland adapters bring about a better sound? I dont understand exactly if they are just soundcards or something else.
