COL stood for Computers On Line, and provided computer repair and tech support.

I have a case with what looks like a spot for a case badge but it's not the usual square - it's pill-shaped, about 40mm by 15mm. Was this ever a standard thing or is my case just weird?

That looks like the same case badge shape Compaq used in the 486-era.

On the subject of re-creating stickers, I've been thinking about printing some "Designed for Windows" stickers on metallic Inkjet-friendly sticker paper at some point, especially the pre-XP ones which have been pretty difficult to find for years now.

That's what I did 3 years ago.

Below is a scan of some of my case badges. I'm not big into case badge collection, but if there is an intention on a case, I must fill it.

Here are some custom badges I made for my cases. These are are only 1-bit so that they print well on my non-colour laser printer.

And here are some custom colour badges I made for some cases. For some reason, the blue colour came out a little funny after uploading the png file.

Here's some of mine that I had in my drawer and not packed in a box:

Sorry for the poor lighting. I'll pull out my full collection someday, it's almost every Intel case badge ever made with a couple of exceptions for ones I can't find. 🤣

Hey, sorry for the Necro, but have you found a nice sticker/badge to put here ? I have the exact same spot on a case.

Thanks !
