What? Is it Rock and Rule? Just guessing based on the Quebec info. 🤣 (although that wasn't Bakshi despite the rumours)

Check me out at Transcendental Airwaves on Youtube! Fast-food sucks!

No idea on this one. My WAG is that it's made by Microdem, makers of the more popular - but still not very good - Space Nightmare, just based on the location & video mode used. (Not many devs were making stuff in 640x480 in 1993-4.) Neither Space Nightmare nor any of its developers are on Mobygames so not easy to cross-reference there. It's also not on Leilei's youtube channel (not making that oversight again 😜 - see Sento) unless I completely missed it.

Hopefully someone else can take that and either prove me completely wrong or run with it and track this down.

So no guesses on this current one I switched to? it's certainly not the correct colors... I switched to a different game because I figured it was too obscure and I don't want to continue holding up this game. this should be a dead easy one

I'm not sure everyone understood that you posted a different game just by reading "fine", I'd guess that most of us had already resigned and didn't bother any further with the new image.
I'd like to know the title of the previous one though. You repeatedly insisted on how good of a game it is and I have a thing for atrocities 😁

I nominate myself to restart this thread. 😊

I was reminded of this game today by stumbling across it on Moby Games. Not a hint, but a bit of trivia: I was a beta-tester for this game and was given a full retail box of it after it was released.

My guess is MDK.

The flying guy looks like the main character from MDK, but I don't remember the skull from MDK, so I am probably wrong.

Nope. This is a fairly obscure game, so I'll post another screenshot:

What era is this game? It looks fairly modern based on the floor reflections.

^^ it looks like a pre-rendered Myst-alike to me, but the rendering quality is better. I'd guess late '90s or early 2000s.

I legit have no idea on this one, so I googled it (wasn't going to answer, just wanted to know.) The result was unhelpful, but amusing.

Reminds me of the various Unreal Engine technology demos that used to come out over the years showing off the features of the technology. Absolutely no idea what this could be though 😊

A couple of more hints which will give you an idea of which era:

hint 1 - minimum system requirements are Windows 3.1, 33Mhz 386, 4MB, 1x CD-ROM, 640x480 256 colors.
recommended: 8MB and 2x CD-ROM.

Nope! He was lead tester (he worked for Eidolon). I was just a volunteer beta tester. If I remember correctly, they sought out beta testers on AOL, I applied, and was accepted. It was a pretty neat experience! I'd get periodic packages in the mail with updated CDs, I'd test the game and give them feedback, rinse and repeat. I was one of many beta testers. They were nice enough to provide a full retail release once the game went gold. 😀
