Unfortunately I don't have the time for that. But, there are dozens of video reviews of these on YouTube. The devices are well worth it IMO.

I just couldn't resist anymore and eventually bought myself this out of pure nostalgia:

That controller reminds me of the original large Xbox controller

That is meant to be since it is a faithful recreation of exactly that one. This one has a USB connection though and works on an Xbox One and PC.

I bought the translucent green for Christmas 2019 from Gamestop for the MCC. So, so, worth it.

I recently bought a retro-ish Cakewalk SPS-25 ( rebranded Roland/Edirol UA-25 with modified device ID). It works fine for S/PDIF I/O , but has weird noise issues with its unbalance out and headphone out. Its balanced in and out work fine .

Since I want a decent audio interface that has at least one stereo unbalanced out and decent headphone out, I ordered a MOTU M2 . I hope that I will be happy with it .

One EK Quantum Velocity CPU block and 3090 Reference block. I’ve decided to try and reduce temps inside an NR200 build I’ve been working on for a while. It’s my first time doing a custom loop so it’s taking me some time to get the finer points down. Build details are:

'Ebony'

• Ryzen 7 5800x
• 32GB DDR4-3600 CL16
• Gigabyte B550i Aorus Pro
• Galax 3090 SG
• Corsair SF750
• WD Blue SN550 1TB
• EK Coolstream SE 280mm, EK Velocity blocks, IceMan reservoir, Laing DDC (Corsair XD3)
• 2X Noctua NF-A14x25 PWM chromax | 2X Noctua A12x15 PWM chromax slim

Well, I didn't buy this today, but the other day I finally upgraded my GPU after 6 years. I got a really good deal on a Dell G5 gaming computer with an RTX 3060 Ti. The system has decent specs, but the amount of non-standard components they put into these systems makes me physically ill, so I had no intention of keeping the computer for myself. It was, however, a way to get a 3060 Ti for something resembling the original MSRP (when it was $399) once I sell the rest of the computer.

Due to the absurdity of the used GPU market, I'll be able to migrate my old GTX 970 to my HTPC and sell the RX 570 8GB from it for about the MSRP of the 3060 Ti. In the end, I'll have upgraded my HTPC (it never does anything to use 8GB, so the 970 will be an upgrade) and upgraded my primary rig to a 3060 Ti (currently worth ~$1200 at scalper prices), and I just might break even on the deal. During the worst GPU shortage in history! Not bad!

Here are my current specs, with unnecessary details:
Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 cooled by a Thermalright ARO-M14G
2x8GB Ballistix Sport LT DDR4-3000 (Micron E-Die, currently at 3733Mhz, CAS15, 1.45v, with FCLK at 1866 for 1:1 ratio)
Asus Xonar DX (not even sure if I should still be using my 12 year old sound card... I just keep using it)
Dell OEM RTX 3060 Ti 8GB (dual fan; fans shut off at idle, temps stay decent... not bad!)
BenQ XL2720Z
Crucial MX500 1TB 2.5" (boot and game drive)
Toshiba 3TB 7200RPM HDD (storage)
Fractal Design Define R6 USB-C (flat white with NO WINDOW... closest I could get to a modern beige tower)
IcyDock 2.5" + 3.5" Dual-SATA Hot-Swap drive rack (fits into the only 5.25" bay on my tower... amazingly useful, and part of the reason I chose a tower with an external bay!)
Pioneer SX780 (my first amp\receiver refurb, done last year) powering a pair of Parts Express C-Note speakers (my second speaker build, also done last year)

Quite happy with my current setup. I piece things together over years, as you can tell, but most of this stuff was put together new in August of 2019, which was the first time I'd built myself a new PC since my 2500K system in 2011 (which is still running!).

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

IceMan reservoir and Laing DDC PWM pump for my custom loop 5800x build in the Cooler Master NR200.

This res was originally designed to be mounted on the rear panel of the NCase M1 to enable a dual radiator setup. However, one of the only ways I can mount a single 280mm rad in the NR200 is with a slim, small DDC pump/res unit like this one attached to the PSU cage.

It’s very well made and fits perfectly well alongside the EKWB gear. Just make sure to buy it without the pump and get a good Laing-licensed one.

Picked up a Dell S3221QS the other day. In short, it’s one of the cheaper 32’ curved 4K monitors out there, it’s in white, supports Freesync and G-sync, has 3 inputs and USB 3.0 ports while keeping a VESA mount on the rear.

I looked at similar alternatives probably using the same panel from AOC, MSI, Philips and Samsung but they didn’t have the combination of features I was looking for. I did also consider the Ultrawide screens but decided they aren’t for me (yet).

This was cheap, I managed to sell a 4 year old Dell UP2716D that paid for half of of this. All in all, a pretty good deal and lightens up the general colour theme of my work desk.

I have the MSI version of that monitor. its extremely nice. The curve is noticeable, but 5 minutes into any game, its seamless.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

That was my 2nd choice but ended up with the Dell due to the white back panel to match my Ergotron. The MSI looked great otherwise.

My ( $200 ) 8-core 16-thread Xeon HP z420 is a BEAST.
Its not a speed burner but it does not hang. It just plows thru anything.
Very stable and reliable computer. Does not crash.
HP has Win-10 drivers. Its fully supported.
Its like a truck with allot of torque. This thing is un-stoppable.

Specs:
HP z420 with 32gb ram ( $150 )
Xeon E5-2690 ( 8 -core ) ( $50 )

I wanted a 5700xt at least
