Inepsy - Fast Way to Die.
Released: 2007. Sounds like: 1981. If you like Tank/Motorhead do yourself a favor and go listen.

Right now - Conan the Barbarian soundtrack.

Try the Red Sonja soundtrack too, if you haven't already .

Love them both but Conan a little bit more 😀

California Girls by David Lee Roth, on Bowers & Wilkins DM302 driven by very cheap, Chinese-made TPA3116 chip amp, and it sounds unexpectedly good. Say, have we been underestimating Class D amp all this time?

Yes, TPA3116 actually drives B&W DM302 pretty well.

Never thought this thread would be that long, but now, for something different.....

Fixing Me With Love, by Sunglasses Kid and Primo the Alien

What can I say? I'm a sucker for Synthwave and '80s retro stuff. 😍 Same reason I'm often on Vogons. 😅

Class D and quality audio have not necessarily been mutually exclusive for a while . See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class-T_amplifier

Marty Friedman mainly.

His albums Scenes and Introduction are masterpieces.

Other select tracks are Undertow, Miracle, For a Friend, Whiteworm, among others.

Marty used to be the lead guitarist on the band Megadeth during their golden years.

Amazing guitarist, but more important: amazing musician!

I'm more of a Def Leppard fan myself, actually. But I totally dig the era and the genre. 😉

Same here., 80s music is the music of my childhood. I was in the elementary school at that time, and I was really into 80s hard rock, then breakdance. At that time, my dream audio gear was Pioneer Disco Robo. But later on, when I was in the sixth grade, my dad introduced me to separates, and it changed my perception forever...

I was born in mid 1970s, so my exposure to 70s music was fairly limited. But 70s disco was my most favorite genre during early childhood. And in my country, disco continued to be popular until early 80s. It was also the time when we had our first Sony Betamax player, and this is one of my favorite disco songs.
