What games are out there that directly support multiple monitors? Not talking about stuff where you can set a wide resolution and just span the window across everything, I mean specific support and use of multiple displays.

This goes way back BTW. There were definitely some early DOS games that used an MDA card in tandem with a graphics card and displayed stuff like HUD info on it. On the Mac side even a classic Mac II or SE/30 could use a second head on a Nubus video card. Don't know of any games that made use of that though.

Of course there must be stuff for modern Mac/Linux/Windows too. Looking for some suggestions of all ages to play around with. 😁

FS4
Modifying Microsoft Flight Simulator 4 to run on three immersive monitors

Yeah yeah it doesn't count since the game doesn't support it.

Wow, I didn't know about that AT ALL. This is exactly the kind of thing I'm interested in dicking around with. Sounds like a pain to set up but I'm gonna have to give it a try (I wonder if I can get it to go in three networked virtual machines?)
