Actually, I recycled all my old 1990’s computers back in 2005 and only kept a couple modern computers.
I recycled all my old computer books to.

Later i found myself wanting a Ultimate 486 computer to play old DOS games.
So I started gathering up parts for this. In my search for old parts I found other computers that interested me and they where selling for cheap so I inadvertly ended up with a large assortment of computers. But my intent was not to collect but to learn how different computers
Operated and to try to figure out what the computer industry was up too.
I like Apple computers simplicity and eco system and methodology on life.
I use to like Microsoft simplicity in DOS and up to Win-2000
And I like UNIX computers and Operating system quality and simplicity.

Some people want to make things simple while others want to make things difficult in order to control the developers and computer market.

Personally, I like open standards but see the need for Security and controls.
