I think I've been using the same SIM card since 2003, though I had to cut it with scissors to get it into newer phones.

i already do have a thing for these devices, but saw this visorphone add-on with charger and really couldn't pass it up... trying to use it as a daily driver w/ a silver visor deluxe for a more carefree life (as in, no wifi-data conn. => no mail/IM/facebook/etc)... certainly not a "dumb phone", certainly not a smartphone :D lowish SAR, still better battery life than many today's phones

Aha, I don't collect phones per se, but I do collect Palm OS devices, which includes several phones: two Palm Treos 650 and a Centro. (However my collection also includes nutty things like bar code readers.)

It's a Handspring Visor Deluxe (classic visor+microphone) with the VisorPhone springboard expansion! Mail etc are not really useful as they work with HotSync (came with Palm Desktop, proprietary software for synchronization with Outlook and other old apps) or by using the VisorPhone as 9600 dial-up modem... It's really only useful as an organizer.

Nice! I have a couple Palms and a couple of the Sonys too, in their original boxes. Gotta dig for them though as they're still in a box somewhere after our last move, uh, 18 months ago. I'll get to it, I swear. :D

So... Collecting phones, is indeed at thing. Just so I can pinpoint what I will ask for, then the two that I might put up for sale is an Sony Ericsson T200 and a Siemens A65. Both in original boxes, manuals and charger's. Are these phones, models that collectors are looking for?

That phone looks great! Which model is it? Monochrome reflective displays are great!

I'm actually trying to restore an old Nokia 1610 phone and receiving soon its internal battery cells to rebuild the original battery pack using a compatible plastic case. I also looking for one of my first phones, the Alcatel One Touch DB that had itself three sort of AA ni-mh batteries.
