Ok. I've done one more filtering wave and around 880 left in the queue.
So, final volume will be ~1500-1700 modules.
Chiptunes formats like sid and modern stuff like rns [Renoise modern tracker] will be included also.
All of modules will be sorted by music styles, packed into 7z archive and uploaded to meganz.

Uploading 2 modules per day.
ETA: Early 2022.

Do you think it would be that many mods are cover of commercial music and that would tripped an automated detection algorithm to prevent usage of copyrighted music ? I remember there was an ill fated trend where modules where used to re-create as smaller version of an original music, as the iconic "what is love" from Haddaway. Or some modules had such a high level of quality that it's hard to tell from the original, a version of "chariot of fire" come to my mind about that.

The reverse can also happen. For example "Acidjazzed Evening" was sampled by Timbaland without given permission. But it resulted in a commercial song (by Timbaland) where the original (by Tempest) might be seen as a copyright violation.

Yup Sorgens Kammer ("Chamber Of Sorrow" to any one who do not understand Danish or Norwegian). is really much a carbon copy of the title theme of Agony.

Great! I've been looking for a solid download of "good" tracker based music, it's very hit and miss to find.

People release "good" module pack now and them. I hunt them too, Byrd, they are awesome to discover new stuff and make for fantastic playlist. I look forward to add spacedrone808's to my collection, I think he worked quite hard putting it together.

Ok, guys. Today, i've made inhuman malicious act against myself and spent almost 6 hours in-a-row on final mods sorting.

Some nerdy stats.
Total files: 1404
Total folders: 43
Uncompressed size: ~1200Mb
7z'ed (ultra compression): ~690Mb
Type files: mod, xm, s3m, it, mtm, umx and even some rns/xrns.

Modules sorted by styles (folders) & overall mood.
So, for eg: we go -> Chiptune -> Upbeat or Downbeat.

What's great with web sites like mirsoft is that you can validate that you where right to think that epic pinballs soundtrack is very similar to the jazz jackrabbit one. You can also learn that the author of those digital illusion pinball was the same of this puzzle platformer called benefactor that is so fun to play !
