The good old days. Do we really need more than text, hyperlinks, pictures (OK, maybe frames....). Now somehow your browser needs more CPU and RAM than a few year old AAA FPS game.

This is pretty nifty. I was browsing through Itch.io and ran across some excellent PICO-8 style 3D models from a Ben Canfield. Apparently, there is a free PICO-8 style CAD program called picoCAD you can use to create your own GIFs, etc.

Man, I'm going to be running around this thread using these in my music videos for YouTube. Already used a few of them.

What's really cool is the newer gifs are all coming with a Vaporwave/RetroWave aesthetic which is a movement I'm kind of pulling from musically ATM as well as aesthetically (can't say I'm 100% a part of it, I use too much electric guitar, 🤣).

Maybe I'll find some of my old ones I had hanging around from my AIM/early Net days in the early 2000's.
