I don’t know if they still do but Intel use to manufacture CPU’s for Nvidia and they also manufactured the CPU for HP the Itanium.

Intel never fab'd anything CPU-related for Nvidia, as they are competitors. Nvidia has always relied on Asian fabs. TSMC has been making Nvidia GPUs from the beginning of the GeForce line to today. A little while ago, it was said - by an Internet personality - that Intel and Nvidia had been talking about using Intel fabs for GeForce GPUs, but there was no evidence to actually back that up. The only relationship Intel and Nvidia have is with their patent portfolios, which they have cross-licensed to one another at great cost, to avoid litigation in GPU matters.

Apparently original GeForce 6800 was manufactured by IBM (probably GeForce FX 5900 as well) and Riva128 chips were made by STMicro.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

Hmmm, I heard Intel used to manufacture Nvidia chips when Nvidia fist started. I guess it was wrong information.

Are you surprised?
