Hi,

I was wondering if there was a portable (exe file) or installer WINS server for windows 10?
Rather than me running up a server.

Not that I can find. Not surprising either as WINS is not really used anymore.

You could always set up VMWare Player on your Windows 10 box and set up Samba server on it.

Yes, VirtualBox is free as well, however the performance is complete crap.
