Hi,

After what seemed like years I got dgVoodoo2 working for Half Life 2. Now the watermark is visible with my 4K (3840x2160) forced resolution and the game has sanely scaled menu's again (BTW, natively, the actual Half Life HUD scales OK in 4K, just not the menu's and subtitles/messages, since a recentish beta version, goodness knows why Valve have not fixed this major game - Please support addition of full 4K support by commenting on these issues: https://steamcommunity.com/app/220/discussion … 15072216217596/ ).

So there are two mouse cursors visible (the desktop cursor) which move together but are offset. Once in game there is only one mouse cursor that is locked to the center of the screen (doesn't help with shooting head crabs 😄😄).

I've tried toggling capture and free mouse and other settings (thought it might be API version) but am stuck on this problem. Any help appreciated. HL2 looks very good in 4K 😃.

If subtitles is the reason you're not using the game's native 4K support you can just edit the subtitle font size in hl2\resource\clientscheme.res , example:

Thanks. Yes I know you can do that but that was not my only reason. The settings menu's (video, audio, etc) are still too small.

I found a solution ... [TUTO] ENGLISH - How to use AutoHotKey & Nomousey software to hide mouse cursor during gameplay.

Use "nomousy".

I'm making an AutoHotkey script to toggle it but am still finding keyboard shortcuts that don't conflict or whatever thee problem is. Anyway the HL2 setting menu has full keyboard control so it's not really a problem.
