I'm not a gamer but I have collected a few games over the years. Here they are:

Now lets have look at yours folks. And I don't mean steam/ogg etc downloads or pirated stuff. Just the touchable authentic cardboard and plastic variety.

Well can you be so kind then to merge this one ol bean?

Oh and I forgot to mention I did a search for"PC Games Collection" before I bothered to post this thread with no hits.

A Mac is not IBM PC compatible Chuck. Nice though.

The real question is.. Why isn't it the iPad version?

That time of the month maybe? I've changed the title to reduce any confusion there may have been.

You changed the title to "IMB Compatable."

I've done the heathen thing and mixed the games for all different types of PCs, including Macs, Amigas, C64s, "IBM compatibles", etc. together on the same shelf, so I guess I'm disqualified from this thread.

Why thank you so kindly. Title corrected. I keep my PC and Acorn stuff separate so I know exactly where it is. Yes Amiga games are not pertenant to this thread. I'm sure there are adequate Amiga forums that cover Amiga games. I've got a couple of Amiga A600s and a few Acorn setups. Oh and an Apple all-in-one. Cute little thing it is. I wouldn't dream of posting about games for those systems on a predominant forum area focused primarily on old x86 hardware. But maybe that's just me.....

Pretty sure we have a thread for this already...

My first thought. Surely one of the originals ?

Well I did a search for PC compatible games and got no hits. Either the search engine is screwy or a thread with that title doesn't exist. I suspect the later. I'm quite a reasonable chap and did ask for this one to be merged if another existed but nothing has been done yet. Surely a thread on original x86 games software should be pinned permanently for this very reason? Seems quite pertinent to the Marvin community as a whole don't you think?

Awesome. Thanks for being more helpful than the other two or so members. You are the type of person who make forums such as this one successful. I see the last post was back in '15. There have been a ton of new users in the four year period since I'd imagine. And a lot of those would hold really old shitters and software they wanted to display. If it was a sticky this thread would never been started in the first place. 😀

There's another thread called "Bought these games today" which is a little different as it shows off recent purchases.

Unfortunately I don't have the kind of space to put my games on display, what little display space I have is for my more aesthetic hobbies (Wargame miniatures, Lego, etc.), so excuse them being stuck in boxes:

Boxed-Games-Big-Box.jpg Boxed-Games-DVD.jpg

I have since acquired another box full of games, though.. Here are some I actually photographed:

PC-FR-Archives-Ultima-8-Wing-Commander-3.jpg PC-Grand-Prix-2.jpg PC-Simon-The-Sorcerer-Double-Pack.jpg

Game-Death-Knights-I-War.jpg PC-Games-1999-2000.jpg PC-Lucas-Arts-Classics.jpg

PC-Command-Conquer-Red-Alert-Complete.jpg PC-EA-Compilation.jpg PC-Kyrandia-Hand-of-Fate.jpg

PC-Microprose-RRTD-UFO.jpg

There is also a box full of Amiga stuff and a lot of loose and unphotographed PC games but I guess that's all I can share right now. I'm no LGR but I like what I have.. I'm slowly adding to it but collecting games has gotten really expensive in the last few years as shipping costs basically doubled or tripled..
