Does anyone know of a MS-DOS tool that can list the device and vendor IDs of all attached PNP compatible hardware?
Open source would be preferred as I'm working on a project that will need me to pull that info.

That being said, the source tree does mention MS-DOS compatibility...
So a version probably exists somewhere

I remember that Hiren's boot CD had a DOS PCI lister utility, maybe even a DOS port of lspci.
I have traveled across the universe and through the years to find Her.

For those that are curious, I'm working on a custom distro of FreeDOS that will include some autodetection/setup scripts for PCI and ISA soundcards, CD-ROMs, NICs, etc...
I also plan on integrating some GUI elements but that's pretty low priority at the moment.
I'll make an official announcement when I actually have something impressive/useful to show...

You can compile pciutils with the instructions from this page DOS - flashrom
lspci.exe worked on my computer in Win98SE and also in direct MS-DOS mode. I attached a screenshot.
