Can't get neither of these to work on my win98 pc. Just the copied the install folders over which worked for some
games - expendable and descent 3.

Looked at Phil's video on this and he uses that unpacking tool innounp and I tried that method too to no avail.
Does anyone know if there are any new developments/utilities to help with doing this?

How exactly don't they work?
I believe Omikron got a release with improved compatibility with modern systems, that version might not work on Win98?

Slave Zero: game acts like it's going to start but reverts back to desktop. I deleted nglide & 3dfx files as instructed but makes no diff. The error
log says something about a missing "wad" file.

Omikron: this one I didn't tinker with too much yet. Pretty sure it gave the usual error expecting a newer windows version.
Yes it works fine on my Win10 system especially after a applying the xbox 360 patch. Controls in this game are murder.
