Here is what i get when i try to update the exe file

looks like you have the incorrect version game installed for the patch maybe there be another online to use it.
sometimes its a corrupted game sometimes its a game from a dodgy source.
I would look for the correct game installer myself chances are it will work well prior to this patch.
I haven't played this game btw but I try be useful as the internet has its own seemingly infinate laws and its a pain to run retro.

I was able to get it running with this

Placed both files in the source directory and it booted. I guess this is an already patched 1.04 exe.

I was able to get it running with this turok2.zip

Placed both files in the source directory and it booted. I guess this is an already patched 1.04 exe.

It happens a lot we get a game it bungs up we're told by forums and etc to patch it only to find its a pre patched newer release needing other stuff instead 🤣
I got rise of nations but it was released after the initial on a dvd with thrones & charriots and it comes with patches included for example.
I check for that condition first before patch hunting.
