I know this topic is old at all but i thought maybe there is a solution to suit it to my machine since the game is a not too old dos game.

I have a p4 with 2 ghz.

I know that there are many games which run too fast on modern machines, but i thought wipeout us from 95 and there is maybe an other solution for that

I thought about to pu in the slowest Celeron with 1,7 ghz, this is the slowest one for 478 since i do not really need this fast p4 at all, but i think this wont help since it still too fast.

Tried to disable the l1 cache but windows takes a decade to load..

Tried it with dosbox but could not find a suitable settings.
