as far as I know those drives identify themselves to the system as several drives, since each drive letter will correspond to one of the chosen cdtrays.
This is also one of the more annoying features of those drives when you accidentally access two cds at the same time it will be busy accessing one, then the other, then the one, etc... until the access has finished.
If the default aspicd.sys doesn't work then I'm fairly certain you'll be out of luck. Though I could be mistaken since I only have the ide version and never had a scsi one.
