My System Shock Enhanced Edition from Limited Run did not while my GOG Copy did include the disc image.
Likewise, my Dark Forces from Limited Run is only a modern .exe installer and copying the installed DOSBOX game still asks for a CD upon prompt in real DOS. Does the GOG release of Dark Forces include a burnable disc image? I could have sworn I had my original disc but it must have been for Mac.
If I remember correctly, There should be a CD.ID file somewhere, put it in the root of your real DOS drive, it should work.

Man, I wish there was a way to patch the DOS version to run SVGA like on Mac.
I know nothing about Macs, so I apologise if there is some obvious reason why not, but can't you emulate a Mac, or use a virtual machine to emulate/simulate a Mac, to play the game on?
