I've got SC-88VL and I have no idea how to connect it to my PC. I've bought MIDI to GamePort cable and I've found my old unused minijack to 2xRCA cable. Do I need something else? And how to connect it?
SC-88VL MIDI-IN to MIDI-OUT on the gameport to MIDI cable.
Then plug the gameport to MIDI cable into the AWE64.
You also have to connect the RCA cable from the left/right RCA outputs on the SC-88VL to either the Line In on the AWE64 or, to the Line In on a separate mixer.
If you connect it to the Line In on the AWE64, remember to adjust the Line In volume sliders in the mixer utility of the AWE64.

Ok, mid-in in SC and mid-out on the cable and both RCA's to audio out in SC and minijack to line in in AWE64? Did I understand correctly? I don't want to damage it, it was too expensive to destroy it.
